I've already got a clock on my screen, I do not need another. Add an option to remove the time from the show info box. It would also be nice if it wasn't an overlay that would cover the page.Ħ. It's also a visual indicator opposed to a text one. Your naturally looking at the bottom of the wind when about to turn the page, so having the progress shown there would be convenient. Add an option to display a progress bar at the bottom.Ī horizontal bar along the bottom of the window showing the progress into an issue would be nice, an alternate to the 'show info' version of "13/23 - TIME". This makes it's extremely annoying to try use.ĥ. My scroll is set to 4x scroll clicks per single click of the wheel, which means that sometimes you'll be at the bottom of a page, scroll down to turn, and end up turning AND scrolling down on the next page. It also doesn't work with some scrolling settings. I'd prefer there to be a click zone at the side of the page to turn to the next one instead, but just being able to disable it would be great. I prefer to be able to freely scroll on a page without the risk of accidentally jumping to another page. This is coupled to the above, but I also dislike it. Add an option to disable automatic page turning via scrolling. It also causes issues with scrolling page turning, as you scroll to see the bottom of a page but end up on the next one as you don't know if the panel ends at the bottom of the page, or if there's more to see.Ĥ. Add a scroll bar to the window so you can see where on the page you are.Ĭurrently I cannot tell were I am on the page, a scroll bar would fix that. I just like to get to the end of an issue, and then for the page turning to stop.ģ. This is also a person dislike, it's a minor thing. Add an option to disable automatically opening the next issue. Pero, por supuesto, esto solo funciona si se trata de un error en la aplicación y no debido a su sistema. Por supuesto, el desarrollador Luis µngel San Mart¡n intenta solucionarlos. When I turn passed the last/first page it would open the next issue at the page where the bookmark had been set for it, which obviously isn't ideal.Ģ. Estos fueron los problemas de YACReader-Comic Reader más comunes que pudimos tener y que pueden no ser los únicos. YACReaderLibraryServer makes it easy to run a home comics server to serve your comics to any device running a YACReader client (including Windows, MacOS, and Linux as well the YACReader iOS app.

It also conflicts with the 'open next issue' feature. YACReader is the best comic reader and comic manager available, with support for cbr, cbz, zip, and rar comic files. I just don't find it very useful, and it's mildly annoying when I open something I had skimmed earlier. The application will automatically fetch tags and. It supports all of the common file types and archives, with a focus on building up an extensive and well-organized library of personal comics. I personally dislike this feature, and have disabled it via locking the "bookmarks.yacr" file to be read only. If you live a multi-OS lifestyle and you prefer some cross-platform consistency, YACReader is probably your best bet. Add an option to to disable automatic bookmarks.

I have a few of features or changes that I'd like to suggest.ġ.
OPTIMIE YACREADER MAC OS
But that would require lots of messing around and testing with our current build process to integrate those solutions we'd likely throw out as soon as proper support is available.įrom my point of view, the best solution would be if the community could step up with native M1 builds (preferable as a homebrew formula) until we are able to properly close the gaps.I'm using the latest version of YACReader (9.5) on Mac OS (Mojave 10.14.2). This does not mean it is impossible - there are some third party solutions (hacks) floating around the web to create universal binaries. A native build would require M1 support from our CI provider, Azure Pipelines, which is not available yet.įrom what I could gather, universal binary support for Qt is in the making but will most likely only be available for Qt 6.2 and onward, which our current codebase does not support yet. The preferred technical solution for this would be an universal binary which supports both M1 ARM64 and Intel 圆4 architectures on Mac, but this would require support by our toolchain, namely the Qt5 framework, which does not support this yet. Sadly there are multiple problems we need to resolve to provide an official build and not all solutions are up to us.
